·         Five Spanish words commonly used in the English language. Do not write them with markers. You need to use WordArt.
Note: Google Spanish Loan Words and you will have a bundle to choose from such as; aficionado, barracuda, and many more.
·         An American city with a Spanish name (Include picture and label)
Note: We have many cities and towns out west with Spanish names.
·         Three Hispanic foods or dishes (Include pictures and label)
Note> They CAN NOT all be Mexican foods.
Paella is a Spanish dish and plátano is a plantain or green banana
·         Three notable Hispanic Americans each from a DIFFERENT field which might include the arts and entertainment, government, education, science, industry, or sports. Include a picture of the person and his name (label it).
Example:
In art, Diego Velazquez
In sports, Rafael Nadal (famous Spanish tennis player)
In government, Sonia Sotomayor (first Hispanic Supreme Court Justice)
·         Two bilingual (Spanish/English) product labels
Note> Goya foods has plenty. You may want to look at cleaning and detergent labels in your house. You can even take a picture of a bilingual sign at Lowe’s or Home Depot. Those stores have bilingual signs throughout the store.
Procedure
1.  Cut a piece of brown paper big enough to use as a cover for your Spanish book. It should be larger than the book by at least two inches all around.
2.    Assemble your representations of ALL the required items, plus your name en  español.
3.    Place the assembled items neatly on the brown paper, with your name en español running along the spine of your textbook. Remember to leave the 2 inch perimeter blank.
4.    Glue all items in place. Remember to label and include a picture of each item that you are gluing onto your paper.
5.    Cut a piece of clear contact paper a bit smaller than your brown paper and position it on top of your design. Please DO NOT let contact paper touch the inside of your book. It will damage it.
6.    Cover your book by turning in the sides and taping the edges.
